Municipalities and water authorities have to stick to the "Verordnung über Anlagen zum Umgang mit wassergefährdenden Stoffen und über Fachbetriebe (Anlagenverordnung VAwS)".
It says that there must be no threat of water-polluting substances concerning the quality and the use of a system.
The systems have to be leak-proof, stable and resistant to expected mechanical, thermal and chemical influences. Therefore the requirements for the systems (especially with regard to arrangement, construction, protections and surveillance) are classified according to the given potential risk.
A distinction is made between single-walled/multi-walled and above-ground/underground containers.
If there are leaking parts in any section of the system that comes into contact with water-polluting substances, the leaks must be fast and reliably recognizable.
We support municipalities and water authorities concerning the creation of corresponding data bases and cadastres.
